Just like when the world feels uncomfortably still but you can't help but enjoy it.
From Grace/Wastelands (2009), the debut solo album from Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty, here's a refreshing track called Arcady.
It's poetic yet light. It's light yet won't make you feel lazy.
I suggest you light a cigarette, sit on a comfy chair on your porch or somewhere sunny, relax, then play the song.
And I end this by quoting Gary Mulholland:
Grace/Wastelands is a literate tearjerker that entirely belies the solipsistic self-pity of Doherty's Babyshambles work. So, wave goodbye to Pete Libertine the Rehab King, and say hello to Peter Doherty, outstanding singer-songwriter and charismatic poet-vagabond. It's a pleasure finally to meet him.Indeed.
