More From Unouomedude

Here's something new from Florida dude Unouomedude

The song's called Buildings and it's as good as his previous songs. It's catchy and dreamy... still. Perfect on a sunny day while frolicking along the beach with the sounds pumped up or when you're sprawled out on the couch. Can somebody out there give this guy a really big break! Dope. Dope. DOPE!

Pet Lions' Propeller Plane

It's never to late... as long as it's a good song, it always matters.

So it's a fact that I'm a big Pet Lions fan... I listen to their songs almost everyday. And another fact: there are days when the blogging-feeling isn't there. Thus, I keep on forgetting to post this one. Girls of Athens is my wake up song. It never fails to perk me up. So remember, for a good waking up ( regardless of what time of the day you wake up) you can get their songs here.

But since I can't find a YouTube, SoundCloud, (or anything) clip/file of it, here's one that's equally good: Propeller Plane.

Young Liars' Colours

I love getting tips on bands to watch out for. Imagine the idea of unraveling something not totally spoiled and at its rawest form.

Guys, here's Young Liars, a Vancouver-based band set to make it big. They don't sound like anyone. Period. Their song Colours is punk, electronic, pop, and funk rolled in one tortilla. The moment the song ends, you'd want to play it again... and again. And again. I wanna hear more!

Oh yeah, by the way, Young Liars is set to go on tour with Oh No! Yoko in August (details to be posted).
Another BTW, you can download the MP3 of Colours here or click the download button on the player.

Learning Perfume Genius

So here's a genius:

He's Mike Hadreas aka Perfume Genius. His songs are mostly dramatic and melancholic but they are catchy. He definitely imparts his life to every song he's made (and hopefully, and about to make). He kinda sounds like Chris Garneau but you can still tell which is which. Here's Learning by Perfume Genius.

I'm a 90s Kid

Here's a song to amp up your mood.

I remember growing up in the 90s... well some parts of it. I wake up, go to school, go home, watch Richie Rich on Cartoon Network while having lunch. Talk on the phone. Watch All That. Use Walkman. Buy cassette tapes with free posters. Sing Mmmbop. Thought Amanda Bynes was the "cutest" girl on TV. Buy headphones with neon colored wires. Wore Skechers shoes and feel really cool about it. Worship the Spice Girls. Oh No! Yoko. I'm part of the 90s Kids.

I tried to be clever. I rest my case.

Orange Sky

Alexi Murdoch was recommended to me at Last.fm so I gave it a shot.

According to his page, his most popular song's Orange Sky... I listened to it. Now I know why. This one has been featured far too many times from 2004 (at Garden State) up to 2009 (featured along with other Alexi Murdoch songs in Away We Go's soundtrack... so I have to see the film. Plus John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph star in it). Thanks Wikipedia haha.
